Here's the road going into Mountain Palm Springs Campground in the South Eastern corner of Anza Borrego Desert State Park. I came to this Campground because Bow Willow Campground was full even though it was only 2 pm, albeit on a Friday.
The road in is sandy soil, just like Bow Willow. Most passenger cars should have no problem navigating the terrain.
