A live ambient jam featuring the Behringer Spice, weaving slow, meandering structures that form the foundation for a small sequence built on a modular setup. External LFOs modulate the Spice, adding even more movement and dynamics to the soundscape.
The Behringer Spice is an absolute monster when it comes to generating background loops that constantly evolve. The subtle roughness added by its subharmonics creates a unique texture.

Floating above it all is a melody played on the Poly D, trying to create a reflective and atmospheric vibe.

This session might just deserve a "proper" recording someday. The build-up is a bit slow in places, there is always one voice that is perhaps slightly too loud or too quiet, and maybe I went a little overboard with the reverb on another . But there’s something about the charm of an unpolished take that I love. As always, everything is recorded directly from the mixer into the Zoom recorder, then lightly compressed, EQ’d, and normalized in Logic.
