MUNICH. Visiting the OCTOBERFEST 2025. Tour to the "Oide Wisn", the area and the final shots.

Welcome back to a new video at the capital of the federal state Bavaria in Germany. Join me in todays video on some time at the world’s biggest beer and fairground rides of Germany and the world the Octoberfest 2025. Find out in my video what can you see at the older Octoberfest called “Oide Wisn” and in comparison, to the todays Octoberfest.


The time at todays Octoberfest:
On the last day of Octoberfest 2025 I spent some time at the event to find out what is the difference between the older event and the modern Octoberfest. According to the rainy day it was not easy to explore the whole event but I stopped at the fairground rides like my favorite ghost train which I knew from the past years or some floors where I had a view to the gothic Cathedral which is not far away from the Octoberfest. I saw many people from all over the world and visited a big tent or house of the famous “Paulaner” brewery of Munich. Personally I´m not a fan to present to you on ride videos of fairground rides but a friend of me called Kevin Selig from Nuremberg gave me one of his on ride videos which he had made during his stay at the Octoberfest 2025.

The brief at the “Oide Wisn”:
Also I visited the part of the Octoberfest which is built every two years at the event called the Oide Wisn. Translated: The Older Octoberfest. There I went at two tents were many other guests enjoyed the beer and listened to the music. All the fairground rides were older and designed in retro style. The experience at this part the Oide Wisn was interesting as well but not equal with the progressive Octoberfest.

The final speech and shots from the Shooters:
According to the tradition of Bavaria the Shooters from the mountains made with a speech of some politicians the end of the Octoberfest. I had the opportunity to come with some special people in front of the statue of the mother Bavaria and the white rums hall. On a stage I saw the second president of Bavaria called Hubert Aiwanger and the Secretary of the Interior called Joachim Hermann which kept a speech and guided a walk with a band of classic Bavarian instruments. This traditional ceremony found its end with the shots of the Shooters from the Alps.

I made this video on the last day of the Octoberfest on October 05.2025, and the full video included with the final shots were made by a lizenz which I used and not sponsored by the Octoberfest administration or the tourist office of Munich. For filming inside the Oide Wisn some clips were made by a member of the event because I couldn´t went inside during its drive. Thanks also to my friend Kevin Selig for sending me the on ride video of his stay at Octoberfest 2025.
