ITA AIRWAYS. 1 hour and 20 minutes sunset flight experience onboard an Airbus 320neo. FCO to MUC.

Welcome to a new video. After spending a week in the capital of Italy Rome I flew with ITA Airways back to Munich Franz Joseph Strauß Airport MUC at Bavaria in Germany. Did you see my other videos about the Airline. This flight wasn´t my first flight with the Airlines but the Airport Fiumicino gives every passenger which fly out an amazing ground experience and flight.


Ground experience:
After arriving the Airport Fiumicino I went after the security check into the large Duty-Free area and explored what is like to see there. All products and staff are cheaper as on any other big Airport in Europe. At next I visited the Centre point where I enjoyed great views to travellers from all over the world and Italy. I took a quicky break at the food area called Italy and was looking to all this great restaurant which are open 24 hour. Here you can eat food from all European countries and can buy food for take away. From my seat I had a great view down and enjoyed some time before I went to my Gate A71.


Boarding and flight:
Boarding begun 10 minutes delayed but the captain told to the passengers they have pumped 2 tons more of fuel for a faster flight to Munich. However, I booked a seat at one of the last rows of the Airbus 320neo for this 1 hour and 20 minutes flight that I have a better view to the sunset after Take Off.
Push back engine start was pretty on time and like every flight the plane touch up in the sky from the runghway which is only used for Take Offs. After turning to the north, I enjoyed some great views to the sunset and was looking for the coming night. The whole flight was not booked out and give me some time also to have a look inside the laboratory and the blue shining cabin.


Inflight service:
According to the short flying time of 1 hour and 20 minutes the service was very low. The cabin crew was coming tow times. At first for serving a chocolate snack with a pack of crackers and at second for a drink. The seat was a older product and designed in a grew and blue colour. On the front seat I found no inflight magazine and safety card and the legroom could be better for an Economy class seat. A great experience was the blue light which was made shortly after Take Off.


A few words about ITA Airways:
The Airline is the following and new Italian flagship after the insolvent Alitalia and based at Rome Fiumicino Airport FCO and Milan Malpensa Airport MPL. The fleet is a mix between older Aircrafts which still coming from Alitalia and a high number of new A220 100/300 and for long haul flights to the North America, Africa, Asia and Latin America the Airline has some A350 900, Airbus 330 900neo and some A321LR.
Also Pope Leo XIV use a A320neo and a Airbus 350 900 for its holy journeys in the world.
