Welcome to a new video train review. Join me on one of the busiest railway route on Germany from Nuremberg Central station to Munich Central station in First Class of a regio train. Find out in this video how is it to travel in a much older first-class seat which is still in service on a nearly 2 hour journey.

The journey:
I went by an regio train from Nuremberg to Munich Central station in a older First-class product. At Nuremberg Central station I visited the First-class lounge which is open only for passengers with a first-class ticket but independent on which train. The train for this nearly 2-hour trip to Munich was in the past an Inter-City train and for a few years a regio train. After departure from platform 12 I explained step by step the comfort during the time to Munich. At the station of Kinding I explained what you can see in the region of the river Altmuel and what kind of towns and castles there are in the region.
Behind the industry town called Ingolstadt I explained the different details of this old first-class seat and gave you a look to the row and other seat in this cabin.
At Munich I left the train with the first time since 2020 in a first-class cabin of a regio train.


About the Deutsche Bahn company and its network and trains: The “Deutsche Bahn” company, founded in January 1994 is Germanys biggest train company. The company has many types of train and brings every year over 100 million passengers through the country, to their work and on holyday. The most famous train is with distance the highspeed train ICE. This train is split up in the brand new ICE3neo, the ICE3 highspeed, the ICET and the older variants 1 and 2. Next to this fast trains it´s happen the Regio and Regional train RE and RB and in towns and the districts the local trains. Today more and more trains got the service of WIFI in the cabin as well. The cabin of the trains is in a two-class configuration first and second class and on trains like the ICE a onboard restaurant which connects the first and second class. The downside of the Deutsche Bahn is that for many years most of the trains departs and arrives delayed. This is also one of Germany’s biggest problems in mobility and travelling by train. To make a journey by this railway company has advantages and disadvantages.
