Today I’m going to teach you an amazing classic chocolate brownie recipe that you can easily make at home with simple ingredients and just a hand whisk. This brownie has a soft texture and an incredible flavor and aroma. So follow along as I show you, step by step, how to bake it and enjoy it with your loved ones!

Classic Fudgy Chocolate Brownies

Ingredients :

Dark chocolate (70%) → 200 g (1⅓ cups, chopped)
Butter → 150 g (¾ cup)
Granulated sugar → 250 g (1¼ cups)
Eggs → 3 large
All-purpose flour → 90 g (¾ cup)
Cocoa powder → 30 g (¼ cup)
Vanilla extract → 1 tsp
Strawberries for decoration
Chopped walnuts for decoration
White chocolate and milk chocolate for decoration

How to Bake :

1. Preheat the oven to 180°C (350°F).
2. Melt the chocolate and butter together using a double boiler (bain-marie).
3. Lightly whisk the eggs, sugar, and vanilla just until combined.
4. Add the melted chocolate and butter mixture.
5. Sift the flour and cocoa powder, then add them to the brownie mixture in three additions. Fold gently with a spatula in a circular motion from bottom to top—do not overmix.
6. Line a 25×25 cm (10×10 inch) baking pan with parchment paper and lightly grease it.

Oven Settings

Temperature : 180°C (350°F)
Rack position : Middle rack
Heating : Top and bottom elements : ON , fan : OFF
Baking time : 20–25 minutes

Important notes:

1. This brownie does not rise because it contains no baking powder.
2. If you notice that the center looks a bit soft when testing, don’t worry — it will firm up as it cools.
3. For decoration, you can use a bit of melted white and milk chocolate, some chopped walnuts, and strawberries.
4. You don’t need an electric mixer for this recipe — a hand whisk works perfectly.
5. Make sure to line the baking pan with parchment paper and grease it thoroughly.
