Fixing a Broken Ferrari 360 with Normal Guy Supercar!

I fly to Austin to help Normal Guy Supercar diagnose and fix a Ferrari 360 misfire — and show him how to degree the camshafts.

On this trip, I traveled from Seattle to Austin for my first-ever YouTube collaboration, teaming up with Dan from Normal Guy Supercar to diagnose and repair issues on his Ferrari 360 Modena.
This wasn’t just a casual visit — Dan’s 360 was dealing with persistent misfires and mysterious cam timing concerns, and it was time to get to the bottom of it.

Once I arrived in Texas, I made my way up to NG Supercars, and we got to work. We tracked down the root cause of the misfires and corrected them, getting the car running properly again. But one question remained unanswered: the cam timing and assembly marks didn’t quite line up with what we expected to see.

So after spending an amazing weekend at COTA for the Formula 1 Grand Prix, I headed back to Dan’s shop to continue the project. Together, we walked step-by-step through the Ferrari 360 camshaft degreeing process — checking the timing accurately, verifying the relationship between the cams and crankshaft, and making precise adjustments to ensure the engine is set up the right way.

This video takes you along for the entire experience — the travel, the diagnosis, the repair, the timing work, and the incredible energy of being around F1 at COTA — all while sharing Ferrari-specific technical knowledge and collaborating with another creator in the supercar community.

🏆 Ferrari selected me as one of 12 technicians worldwide to compete in the "Ferrari Testa Rossa Awards" for four years consecutively. Finishing in 3rd place in 2016, & in 2019 I was able to place in 1st, winning the competition & earning the title of the "Top Ferrari Technician in the World!"

🚀 As my time with Ferrari came to an end, a new career path awaited me…. Aerospace. I am currently working at Blue Origin, helping to build & develop the BE-3PM and BE-3U rocket engines.

With my new career path, I needed an outlet for my automotive passion, thus the reason for this channel…
