I watched Kyrgyzstan's national sport with nomadic herders at 3000M, by pure luck. Kok Boru is known by some as "the game of warriors" and its not hard to see why. It is played on horseback, with a dead goat instead of a ball, and there don't seem to be any limtations on physical contact.
