In this video, we will explain how Trimble Siteworks Machine Guidance works. Siteworks is a versatile, low-cost solution for machine guidance and layout that enables contractors to use the same hardware and software to perform a variety of tasks on the job site, both on and off machines.
The system consists of a GNSS smart antenna, a machine kit, and a data collector that supports Siteworks. The GNSS antenna provides real-time positioning data, which is used by the machine kit to calculate the machine's position relative to the design. The data collector displays the machine's position and orientation, as well as any deviations from the design, in real time.
