Being able to generate a system of differential equations is often the starting point for control system analysis and design. Previous videos have covered how to model dynamic systems with a motor, a sliding/rolling cart, gears, etc. Here all of these pieces are brought together in an example. The system has carts (translation), a swinging rod (rotation), and a geared DC motor. The notation builds on previous videos in the series, so you may want to review those before tackling this one.
