It was a bright sunny day at the beach with a blue sky and occasional clouds. The ocean sparkled under the warm and not yet blazing sun, each wave catching the light as it gently rolled in. The sand was soft and golden in colour, warming underfoot and leaving temporary footprints that the tide would soon wash away... The salty breeze carried the promise of a carefree day, where time seemed to slow down and worries were carried away with the rhythm of the waves.
Sherbrook River Mouth Ocean Beach in Victoria, Australia, is a striking and wild location near Loch Ard Gorge along the Great Ocean Road. This beach is where the Sherbrook River flows into the powerful Southern Ocean, creating a landscape defined by high limestone cliffs and waves that sometimes can reach up to 12 feet, crashing dramatically over the rocky shoreline. While the strong currents and dangerous rips make it unsuitable for swimming, the area is absolutely perfect for coastal walks, photography, and experiencing the ocean's raw power.
What kind of beaches do you prefer - sandy, rocky, covered with small sea pebbles, or maybe shells?
