Today we’re making the Bloody Mary! It’s one of the most recognizable cocktails out there - a brunch staple that’s been around for nearly a century. I’ve always found this drink kind of funny, because these days, the garnish gets more attention than the drink itself! In this video, I’ll show you the Bloody Mary recipe I like best, and then we’ll have some fun with the garnishes. Anything goes here, so get creative. Cheers!

THE BLOODY MARY RECIPE 6:46
1.5 oz. (45 ml) Hangar One Vodka
1/2 oz. (15 ml) Lustau Amontillado Los Arcos Sherry
4 oz. (~120 ml) Tomato juice
3/4 oz. (45 ml) Fresh lemon juice
1/4 oz. (7.5 ml) Worcestershire sauce
1/4 tsp. Celery salt
1/8 tsp. Horseradish
3-4 dashes Tabasco (or other hot sauce)
Cracked black pepper to taste
Garnish with just about anything
THE BATCHED BLOODY MARY MIX (nonalcoholic)
32 oz. Tomato juice
6 oz. (~180 ml) Fresh lemon juice
2 oz. (60 ml) Worcestershire sauce
2 tsp. (~12 g) Celery salt
1 tsp. (~5 g) Horseradish
3-4 tsp. (15-20 ml) Tabasco (or other hot sauce)
3/4 tsp. (~4.25 g) Cracked black pepper
