Heartbreak is one of the most painful emotions that we experience after the loss of a spouse. Not only are we heartbroken over the loss of their life, but the tragedy of their death and the death of the dreams and goals we aspired to achieve with them.

When my husband passed in 2019, I thought I could quickly close that chapter of my life, and the pain of heartbreak would go away. I was so wrong. My heart was shattered to pieces and it wasn't until I surrendered all that I had left, that I was able to begin rebuilding.

If you’ve lost the love of your life, you may be uncertain how you will survive this overwhelming loss. You may even question if you have the energy or desire to try. It's okay to feel this way.
