In this video, learn how to make delicious and easy pizza dough that is Specific Carbohydrate Diet friendly as well as gluten free, paleo and vegan. Let's put aside the cauliflower and make way for beets! The beets add a sweetness to the crust and the dough color is definitely something to see. This is a fun meal to share or to bring at a party. One thing you need to keep in mind is the dough won't be hard or dry, it will be slightly on the wet side. That's that you want. So be careful when you flatten it out, you don't need to apply a lot of pressure. If the dough is too wet, you can sprinkle a bit of almond flour and mix it in with a spoon until it's the perfect consistency.
The best part is you can freeze them. Place any extra pizza crusts in a Zip-Lock bag and store them in the freezer.

SCD BEET PIZZA CRUST RECIPE:
-8.8 oz (250 g) cooked beets
-2 eggs
-1/2 cup almond flour
-1/4 cup coconut flour
-2 tbsp Italian seasoning
-Pink Himalayan salt to taste
The original recipe includes flax seeds but those are not SCD friendly so I left them out.
