Homemade Pizza Dough for Pizza Fritta

Need some dessert to go with your pizza but you don't want to spend any extra money? Well save your hard earned dough buy using... well... extra dough. Learn how to use leftover pizza dough to make a light tasty treat after you've had your pie. This recipe is sure to please!
Preheat oven: 170 degrees fahrenheit, then TURN OFF oven before placing dough to rise in warmed oven for 1 hour OR place covered dough to rise in a draft free, warm place for 1 hour.
Ingredients:
For dough:
4 cups all-purpose flour
1 1/2 cups water
6 Tbs oil
2 tsp rapid-rise yeast
1 1/2 tsp salt
and extra flour for dusting (bench flour)
For toppings:
your choice of cinnamon sugar using:
1/2 cup white granulated sugar and
1 Tbs ground cinnamon (mixed)
or
sifted powered sugar
For frying:
1 1/2 cups canola oil
