LEADERS CALL ON GOVERNMENT TO INCREASE BUDGET ALLOCATION FOR BUNYANGABU DISTRICT

BUNYANGABU DISTRICT. Asaba Brian, a concerned leader from Bunyangabu District, has appealed to the government to increase the district’s budget allocation to help improve service delivery across key sectors.

Speaking during on a rally in kibito sub county, Asaba Brian noted that Bunyangabu faces several challenges, including inadequate funding for education, health, road infrastructure, and agricultural support programs. He said that the current budget is not sufficient to address the needs of the growing population.

He emphasised that with increased government funding, the district would be able to rehabilitate damaged roads, support farmers with improved inputs, enhance health services, and strengthen schools with better learning materials and facilities.

Residents welcomed his call, saying the district has long struggled with underfunding, which has slowed progress in many areas. They urged government ministries to consider Bunyangabu’s needs when planning national budget allocations.

Local leaders also backed the appeal, highlighting that improved funding would boost development initiatives and uplift the livelihoods of the people.

Asaba Brian said he is committed to working with policymakers and stakeholders to ensure the district receives the resources necessary for sustainable growth.
