Fukuoka Walking Adventure: Katsu Curry, Port Tower & Sushi Night 🍣

Join me for another full day exploring beautiful Fukuoka, Japan! 🇯🇵✨

I start the morning right next door to my hostel at a cozy Indian restaurant, where I dig into a super satisfying chicken katsu curry — crispy, flavorful, and the perfect way to fuel the day.

From there, I take a long one-hour walk through Hakata, sightseeing and soaking in the quiet morning vibes. Along the way, I stop at a small local bakery for a coffee and a donut, a simple break that hits just right.

My walk leads me all the way to the Hakata Ferry Terminal, where I buy my ticket to Shikanoshima Island, the place I’ll be staying for the next week. After securing my island plans, I make my way up the Hakata Port Tower, enjoying the beautiful panoramic views of the water, ships, and city skyline.

To finish off the night, I head back toward my hostel and have a delicious dinner at a local sushi restaurant just around the corner — the perfect ending to a long but relaxing day.
