While planning ClimateStory Goa, a trusted friend recommended we stay at a beautiful eco-village called Mojigao. It soon became clear that this would be more than just accommodation, and would be an excellent feature in itself.

We met Moshe briefly when we arrived at the hotel. I was apprehensive at first, my mind uncertain - 'is this flower child going to be able to speak about sustainability for 90 minutes?' Either way, the hotel was beautiful so it wouldn't be a complete waste.

The morning of the interview itself Moshe arrived right on time, and in good spirits. His energy was infectious, his child-like laugh a thing of legend in the Goa of old - where hippies from all over the world came to experience their version of freedom.

And over the next three hours, Moshe amazed us with the most interesting, expressive, and genuine interview. He admits that he is not a philosophical man, but carries with him deep values that translate into action across his various sustainable businesses.

All around the property are statues of Indian Goddesses, and they made their presence felt in this magical kingdom called Mojigao - which we've coined 'the Abode of the Goddess'.
