1/2 cup soft butter
1/2 cup shortening
1 cup sugar
1 large egg
1 teaspoon vanilla
2 1/4 cup flour
1/2 teaspoon baking powder
1/2 teaspoon baking soda
Filling
6 ounces cream cheese
1/4 cup sugar
Mix butter-shortening-sugar-egg-vanilla-flour-baking powder-baking soda, set aside, in a small bowl mix cream cheese and sugar until fluffy smooth consistency scoop out a big ball of dough, press fingers in center and fill with cream cheese roll into ball and place on parchment paper, and place in refrigerator 2 hours to overnight, you can also freeze them until needed .
Preheat oven 350F bake 12-13 minutes, when you pull them out allow them to cool down completely before handling enjoy!
