I had accumulated too many scooter in my garage over the last year, so I thought what better way than to make a long board scooter
I went around town buying trimmers, and after countless hours of brainstorming I found a way to use them
I riveted the scooters together onto some square aluminum tube. I recommend using something stiffer. I bent it 10 degrees over the course of a month when I didn’t have an engine on it yet.
I put a 26cc Homelite engine on the scooter using my favorite building material: steel angle.
I think that engine makes 1 horsepower.
I used pipe fitting as the drive socket.
5/8 inch fitting to a 3.7 inch wheel gave me a 4.5:1 gear ratio with a theoretical top speed of 20mph at 8,000 rpm.
I got 19 mph before suffering a drivetrain issue. I had secured the nut to the flywheel shaft, but not the pipe fitting.
Despite the major oversight on my end, I had fun with the build for 5-10 minutes before the JB weld broke loose where I had thought I secured the driveshaft.
I will update how I fixed this in a further video.
The clutch setup is simple, all I did was drill holes into the fins in the cylinder head and used a bar to engage and disengage the clutch by pressing it.
This means I can bump start the scooter
This project took me 4 weeks on and off but after this video, you could cut that time in half.

I will release songs eventually… on a different channel.
