Irving Kaufman (1890-1976) was the most prolific vocalist in the teens and '20's having made over 6000 records. His career began at age 8 in vaudeville and he recorded until the early '30's. After that he did radio work until the War. A heart condition forced his retirement in the 1940's. In 1974, a fan convinced him to record some songs to be included in a couple of LP's of reissues of his early records. This medley is one of them. Kaufman's wife, Belle Baker, accompanies him.
