Slurry spreading is under more pressure than ever, from nutrient limits to application windows, storage requirements and costs. In this video, I take a close look at a brand-new slurry separation machine recently added to a local contractor’s Galen Rynhart and George Dunne’s setup and ask a simple question: is this a serious step forward, or just expensive kit?
We go through how the system works, what it separates out, where it might make sense on real farms, and where the limitations are. This isn’t a sales video. It’s a practical, on-farm look at whether slurry separation can genuinely change how slurry is handled, stored, and spread.
