Hack ATX power supply based on SG6105DZ IC .
SG6105DZ IC have inbuilt voltage protection ( over voltage and under voltage ) and current protection( short circuit ) . So in this video we have hacked this voltage protection using resistor to divide the voltage (voltage divider ) on all three voltage sense pins which is :
2nd pin for 3.3v
3rd pin for 5v
7th pin for 12v
And to vary the voltage , we have used potentiometer on 17th pin with the ground .
Make sure to remove the resistor which is connected to pin 17 with the ground , otherwise this hack will not work.
In the next part we will hack the over current protection (short circuit protection).
Note : Be careful while working with smps ,high volt supply .
