Emerging from the labyrinthine station concourse, plagued by seemingly endless construction, we find a cluster of skyscrapers towering above the clear autumn sky. Walking through the inorganic valley of concrete and glass, we come upon the circular intersection behind the police station, a sanctuary for the film ""Your Name."" Its geometric beauty and urban functionality captivate the pedestrian. Further west, the scenery changes dramatically to Shinjuku Central Park, a former factory site reborn as an urban oasis. The sight of rows of golden ginkgo trees swaying in the breeze and fallen leaves adorning the asphalt makes it easy to forget you're in the middle of a metropolis. Deep within this green space lies Jusansha Kumano Shrine, revered as the guardian deity of this area since the Muromachi period. The moment you pass through the torii gate, the roar of the city mysteriously fades away, and only the sound of your footsteps on gravel and the wind rustling the trees reverberates in your eardrums. As you quietly pray in front of the shrine, which is over 600 years old, you will be enveloped in a mysterious sensation where hustle and bustle and silence, the present and the past intertwine. This video meticulously records the multifaceted faces of Shinjuku from the perspective of a single pedestrian.
