Japan travel / Fujisawa Jingkoji Temple Walk at the Historic Temple Approach , Kanagawa / 4K UHD

I'm walking through the town of Fujisawa. Just a short distance from the station, the hustle and bustle of the streets fades, revealing traces of ancient worship. Passing through the temple gate of Shinkoji Temple, the autumn light illuminates the cobblestones, casting shadows of a distant past. It's said to have been founded at the end of the 15th century, during a time of war. Behind the temple grounds, a group of tunnel tombs dating back to the 6th century rest quietly, cherishing the memories of the people who lived here. As I walk along the road, the sound of the Tokaido Line approaches. In this town where modern life and ancient worship intertwine, the passage of time flows gently. Eventually, I arrive at Mirokuji Temple. This ancient temple, founded by Hojo Yasutoki, the third regent of the Kamakura shogunate, stands guard over the border between Kamakura and Fujisawa. Next, I visit Hozenji Temple, said to have been founded by Hojo Tokimune, and the atmosphere within its grounds is even quieter. The footprints of a bygone era are still embedded in people's lives. Every time I walked, I felt the breath of prayer and daily life overlap, and I truly felt the depth of the city of Fujisawa.
