ingredients
Bara:
1 tbsp. Sugar
1/4 Quick rise Yeast
1/4 warm water
1/2 cup flour
1tsp Salt
1/2 tsp turmeric powder
warm water to mix.
1tsp oil
Channa:
2 cans of channa- 540ml per can
5 cloves of garlic finely chopped
1 tbsp. curry powder
1 tsp geera powder
1 tsp salt- and salt to taste
2 tbsp. of bandania/Culantro blended with hot pepper
**Add water to channa if it needs more time to get soft.
flour to thicken
6 cups of oil to fry bara- please note the amount of oil will vary depending on size and depth of pot being used.
