I thought this would be quick & easy. It wasn't! My old Smart & Brown lathe which I would generally use for smaller parts turned out to be a bit too worn - the tailstock centre is a bit below the spindle centre. Not usually much of a problem but the 0.8mm drill needed for these parts would bent & drill a crooked hole (see the end of the video). So I used our old Colchester Bantam which has loose cross & compound slides & a 4-way toolpost with not quite spot-on indexing. Made it a bit harder to get the dimensions of the part spot on...
