Today's Free Tutorial is for a heart themed pendant featuring a drop / pear shaped cabochon. This design looks fabulous with long and slender drop cabs, but pretty much any pear / drop shaped flat back cab could be used.
I'm taking you step-by-step through the design process and whilst this design CAN be achieved by beginners, a little wire handling experience is helpful.
My frame is made from 1.25mm / 16g wire, and decorated and woven up with 0.8mm / 20g wire and 0.4mm / 26g wire, all round and easily obtainable.
