I always ask clients to "Describe a Healthy You" before I even meet them. They can write it out any way they want: bullet points, prose, poetry... but it needs to be a complete description of a healthy them.
This is Exercise Therapy with Andrea Bowden, MS - Strategic Health Coaching for people tired of quitting. These Monday Motivation tips are intended to get you up off the couch and in the gym.
When writing out a description of a healthy you, include everything you can think of that would mean a healthy you. All of the following is legit: what you eat; when you eat; how you eat; quality of food; how much alcohol; how often you exercise; the type of exercise; how often you get your hair done; how many times a year you take a vacation; how much sleep you get each night; your relationship with family and co-workers...
For people not sure where to start on a health plan, this is a good start. This helps people understand where they are at with regard to Movement Mindset Nutrition and Recovery. (ESPECIALLY AFTER YOU WATCH MY NEXT PART 2 VIDEO TO THIS ONE!!)
After you describe a healthy you, you have a starting point to start to address the areas you feel need most attention.
