This is a demo of an activity, done during an AAPT workshop in the UK, that is useful with groups of adolescents or families. The focus is on protecting self-esteem, but it is done through the use of metaphor. You can see the lighthearted nature of the facilitation, as well as how the therapist stays within the metaphor (for emotional safety). Some suggested debriefing areas are listed at the end.
