This time, I go beyond the first-day setup and start building a sustainable workflow around my NixOS system:

Set up dotfiles management with GNU Stow for clean and portable configs.
Versioned system configuration and flakes with Git, separating /etc/nixos and home dotfiles.
Added automatic upgrades (but no auto reboots), garbage collection, and store optimizations.
Configured firmware updates, SSD trim, and Bluetooth for smoother daily driving.

Learned the quirks of flakes, symlinks, and why keeping things clean matters.
