Estradiol: Please Don't Freak Out Over Doses and Levels

Literally LOADS of feminizing people on Estrogen therapy contact us concerning their doses and lab levels of Estradiol. It is one of the number one questions we get from folks on this type of medication, whether they are our patient or not. Due to many many many factors, a semi-obsession almost develops where people watch their levels so closely and freak out over the smallest changes. Or worse, they compare themselves to others. Oi! This video will hopefully help some people understand a little bit more about what it is we look for with regards to Estradiol and Testosterone levels in order to achieve feminization, and why differences aren't necessarily a bad thing. Of course there are bad providers/prescribers out there who either don't know what they're doing or who might deliberately act obtuse, but if it's just a case of a patient not knowing that is causing such a consternation, then this info should help.

*Please note that this video is not at all meant to discount people's fears or feelings as I know there are some very valid reasons to have concern over your HRT (like in the case of having a crap provider). I just am trying to provide some sort of comfort to those who may be judging themselves overly harsh because we see and hear it so often all day every day in our work.
