Bergamo Orio al Serio Airport (LIME/BGY) is the 3rd biggest Ryanair Hub, the biggest Aeroitalia Hub and Focus City for AlbaStar and with over 13 million passengers handled in 2019 the 2nd biggest airport in Milano area and 3rd biggest airport in Italy after Roma-Fiumicino and Milano-Malpensa. Due to its proximity to the alps it`s well known for the panoramic approach and departure. On 12th of December 2022 there were clear skies and good visibility all around due to low temperatures around freezing point.
