Jan 1, 2023 was a surprisingly good off-season day for hang gliding at Marina Beach, near Monterey, CA, USA. Conditions were perfect in the morning, a little light in the afternoon, but good again in the evening. I can't seem to get tired of flying fast just above the dunes. 4 hang gliders and a handful of paragliders flew over the course of the day.
