My FAVORITE Shoes for Lifting (SQUATS & DEADLIFTS!)

Today I want to share with you guys my new favorite shoes for lifting, the Ursus by Bearfoot Athletics. I have been using these for the past few months on all squats and deadlifts. Being a competitive weightlifter for over a decade, I ALWAYS squatted in weightlifting shoes that have a raised heel. However, since learning about the importance of having a wide toe box in order to use the foot as it was naturally designed, I have switched my strength lifts to using the Ursus and haven't looked back.

*I still use my weightlifting shoes for all olympic lifts (what they were designed to be used for).*
