Pokèmon X/Y Remix: Shalour City

Hey all, here’s another remix dropping just before my upcoming Lusamine track. I’ve also got another Legends Z-A Remix lined up for December, right before the Christmas remixes land later this year. I really wanted to close out 2025 with a strong run of themes that showcase how much the channel has grown since the relaunch.

Looking ahead into early 2026, I’m planning out **three major releases for January & February:
• Lumiose City (Night) – Legends Z-A version, I can't resist doing Lumiose City again!
• Deoxys Battle, something intense, cosmic, and rhythm-driven
• A fresh Area Zero remix, pushing the dreamy sci-fi direction even further

And once summer arrives next year, I’m preparing a full Route 18 remix and I’m hoping that one becomes a proper collaboration. I want it to have a warm, nostalgic “journey through a region” energy, so bringing another producer into the mix would be a huge step forward.

For this track specifically, I went for something different again. I didn’t rely on my usual MIDI segment this one was built completely by ear, with only loose sheet-music references guiding the harmonic structure. (And yes, I still can’t read sheet music properly!) Because of that, it ended up becoming a deeper dive into my dreamscape style: less about percussion or heavy rhythm, more about atmosphere, texture layering, and building that drifting, surreal feeling the original area evokes. It’s all about creating a space you can almost walk into something you feel more than you hear.

I just want to say thank you again for sticking with the channel throughout the relaunch this year. 2025 has been a massive turning point for me creatively, technically, and personally and the support on each upload genuinely keeps me motivated to push for quality, consistency, and new ideas. There are so many themes I’ve been quietly working on behind the scenes, and 2026 is shaping up to be my most experimental and refined year yet.
