Chris Warburton presents Weekend Breakfast and other programmes for BBC Radio 5 Live, having also presented on BBC Radio 6 Music and on BBC local radio. Here he talks about dealing with breaking news stories, why he loves listening to Gilles Peterson and how he made it as a national broadcaster. Presented by James Hanson. After studying broadcast journalism at the University of Cardiff, Chris Warburton joined BBC Radio Cambridgeshire as a reporter. After a spell as a producer at BBC Radio 5 Live, he returned to local radio as the host of the Swindon Breakfast Show on BBC Wiltshire. He's since returned to 5 Live as presenter of Weekend Breakfast, and as a regular cover presenter for weekday shows.
