Safety Connection | Designated Substances Control Program Practice Guidance

The Ontario Designated Substances Regulation had been in place since the 1980s, but some employers had not implemented the control program. This webinar focused on the regulatory framework surrounding the control program, which may have been required following a designated substances assessment. Attendees learned about the regulation as it pertained to control programs, reviewed the MLITSD guide regarding designated substances in the workplace, and became familiar with the content of control programs. Note: The webinar placed limited emphasis on the designated substances assessment.
