We invite you to journey with us on the rough and stormy seas to the Skellig Islands off the West Coast of Ireland. We have travelled there many times over the years and each time we climb those stone steps, hand carved by the monks, we have found a silence, a peaceful stillness and a profound presence of spirit. We hope this piece, “Crossing to Skellig,” can bring you some of we experienced while you listen to our harp, hammered dulcimer and pennywhistle. We, Philip and Pam, have been playing together for over 41 years and love sharing our music with you even when we can’t see you. This piece Crossing to Skellig appears originally on our Flying Fish Records release by the same name.
