Well, what do you know? A Fuller Brush Man just walked into the Flamingo Motel!

Owned and operated by Mr. and Mrs. Hodge, the motel is an "AAA approved" motor lodge in beautiful Ft. Lauderdale. We are conveniently located just a few steps away from the beach. We have free color TVs, air conditioning, and private telephones in every room. We also just opened our private pool for the season (although it's really "off season" and just a bit too cold for Ruthie Hodge). Come let the ocean waves put you to sleep every night. 🌊

Crinkly forms and cards, carbon paper. Random sounds during check-in. Ocean waves, lint rolling, brushing, occasional tapping. Lots of budget-friendly retro vibes.

Among other things, the video includes a history lesson about the Green Book that was used by black travelers during segregation and Jim Crow in early to mid-century America.
