Easy Pickled (Red) Onions

Pickled onions, especially red ones, go great with countless meals. A must have on taco's, hamburgers, hotdogs, sub sandwiches, pizza and the list can go on forever. They store well for about two weeks in a refrigerator, but trust me, they won't be around that long. You'll eat them on everything.
Here is a simple recipe for quick and easy pickled onions.
All you need is:
1 Red Onion
1/2 Cup of Apple Cider Vinegar
1 tbsp. of granulated sugar
4 cups of water (1 cup for brine, 3 cups for boiling)
1 1/2 tsp of kosher salt
12 peppercorns
1 16 oz mason jar or whatever airtight container you want to store it in.
Make the brine, (by watching the video)
Slice the onion
Put the onion in boiling water
Pack the jar
Refrigerate
Wait 24 hrs
