Alchemy - Mystical Bellydance Transmutations was a Fusion Bellydance show in Helsinki on 14th of December 2024, produced by Studio Bastet. It was organized as a part of - and as a celebration of - the graduation from Studio Bastet Teacher Training program.
First part of the alchemical transmutation - the theme of the show - was NIGREDO. Death, decay, loss of identity, the black fertile earth that holds the potential of rebirth and new life.
Ingrid Saare is one of the graduating teachers, a dancing story-teller from Tartu, Estonia. Her piece is about fear, a destructive state of mind that can even freeze life.
