CSX's former Chesapeake and Ohio Big Sandy subdivision runs from Big Sandy Jct near Catlettsburg to Elkhorn City KY and connects to the former Clinchfield. The line has many classic C&O US&S R-2 signals still in use in 2025. We Visited in Oct 2025 to shoot the C&O signals and 2 saw two trains and a lite engine movement during our visit.
