In the early ‘80s I lived behind Sunset Sound in Hollywood just south of this intersection. Hollywood was in disrepair in this era and it was an interesting time. But a memorable intersection when one never knew if The Rolling Stones bus would be parked next to the studio or if it was just another day of street talk with the hookers who owned that corner. Deserves an instrumental of contrasts in DACGCE tuning, don’t you think?
