可選字幕 / 牛潭山的地理位置橫跨上水粉、嶺新市鎮與元朗新市鎮之間，可走的山徑一邊連接大羅天頂與雞公山的山脊，另一邊則連接騏驎村的馬路。牛潭山的山頂視野開揚，可遠眺新田、落馬洲、深圳福田區等地。
一般我會先走雞公山，至大羅天頂，落牛潭山，再上騏驎山，至古洞完成。但基於炎熱天氣，今次只單走牛潭山，卻如我所料，短短三公里多的路，攀升約三百二十米，卻要用了二個半小時方可完成，不能再快，也不應再快，避免中暑，安全至上。
Subtitles can be enabled / Ngau Tam Shan straddles the border between the Sheung Shui–Fanling New Town and the Yuen Long New Town. One side of the accessible trail connects to the ridgeline between Kai Kung Shan and Kai Kung Leng (also known as Tai Lo Tin Peak), while the other side links to the road of Ki Lun Village. The peak of Ngau Tam Shan offers a wide, open view, allowing distant sights of San Tin, Lok Ma Chau, and even the Futian District in Shenzhen.
Usually, I begin my hike from Kai Kung Shan, ascend to Tai Lo Tin Peak, descend Ngau Tam Shan, then climb Ki Lun Shan and finish at Kwu Tung. However, due to the hot weather this time, I chose to hike only Ngau Tam Shan. As expected, although the trail was just over 3 kilometers long, with an elevation gain of around 320 meters, but it took me two and a half hours to complete. I couldn’t go faster, nor should I have, to avoid heatstroke. Safety always comes first.
