INTUITIVE EXCHANGE SACRIFICE

In this video I am talking about an EXCHANGE SACRIFICE which should feel very INTUITIVE.

Of course, INTUITION is something that DEVELOPS over time but I think here is how it works:

You cannot calculate the correctness of your sacrifice nor can you prove it by counting material (we have less, don't we?).

However, you can try to COUNT WHAT ELSE you get in RETURN for the material investment of 1.5 points (That is how much the exchange costs):

If you see a few factors like: damaging opponent's center, exchange his best minor pieces, get an excellent square and so on ... you will have the feeling that we get A LOT in return. The more we get, the better and of course if we get 3 or 4 big positional assets in return IT JUST SHOULD BE enough.

That's the intuition, first understanding what we are actually getting in return and secondly judging if it is little, just enough or more than enough... Hope that helps - let me know if you have any concerns.
