Martinique 🌿 Serene Rainforest Hike Virgin Voyages Excursion

My wife Kristen and I recently went on a Virgin Voyages Caribbean cruise, which stopped in Martinique, a small island that is a territory of France. While there, we hopped on a brief rain forest hike excursion that we booked through the cruise line.
We took a 15 minute bus ride to a trail that begins near the Fontaine Didier bottling factory. The trail covered some muddy but relatively easy terrain for about 2.4 miles (3.8k). For a couple experienced hikers, it was an chill, undemanding, guided tour through the fascinating flora and fauna of the island. The journey from the cruise port and back only took about three hours.
Everyone survived the hike quite happily – except, perhaps, our sneakers.
