I finally got one! Amazing beast. Grundig Satellit 3400 Pro restoration part 1.

Grundig was a pioneer in the field of transistorised world receivers in the 60's and 70's, having previously also been a market leader in the tube radio era. Many would defend that Grundig was indeed the leader in the transistor era, especially in the production of radios that have since gained iconic status.
The Satellit 3400 Professional was launched in the late 70's as a progressive improvement on a few really great receivers that gained a faithful market following, and is to this day something to behold.
I've wanted one of these for some time, especially after having acquired and restored the Grundig Satellit 2100 recently, but the prices are quite steep. I got lucky here, so this is it - my own Grundig Satellit 3400 Professional. It was sold as not working, which just makes the project a little more fun. I know, I'm a sucker for punishment.
