TRIP REPORT | Split Scimitar Winglets on Ryanair 737 :) | Ryanair Boeing 737-800 Dublin to Kerry

A lovely Winter's evening flight from Dublin to Kerry on a Split-Scimitar winglet Ryanair B737.

It was, as always, a short and sweet flight across the Emerald Isle with Ryanair from Dublin down to Kerry Airport in the Southwest of Ireland. It made it all the nicer taking off from Dublin during the lovely evening sunset, where we got some stunning clips of the beautiful night-sky colours :)

The weather across all of Ireland was quite the same, with a high layer of cloud spread across the country. We began the day with some nice planespotting from the terminal in DUB, where we spotted some nice aircraft on stand.

Onto the flight then! We pushed back and took off not long after the Scheduled Departure time and we were on our way towards the South-West not long before 5pm. The take-off was quite amazing, with lovely views of the city by night as we climbed out of Dublin from Runway 10R, and we were then greeted by some amazing sunset colours as we climbed just above the clouds.

We made on almost 180 degree turn over Howth peninsula before flying towards the Southwest through an evening of spectacular sunset colours. As always, it was a very short and sweet flight, and we cruised for just a few minutes as we flew towards Kerry.

Not long afterwards, we began our descent to Kerry Airport. By now it had become conpletely dark outside. We landed on Runway 26 in Kerry at around 5.20pm, 15 mins ahead of schedule.
