In this fourth episode, I will explain how freelance filmmakers, gig creatives, film crew, and tiny production companies can set-up their invoices for clarity and success. Also some notes on rates and timely payment.
This information comes from the perspective of working as film crew. However, we often find ourselves working as small businesses and dealing with some of the bureaucracy that comes with owning a company.
The tips and suggestions will also be helpful to other creatives in parallel fields: photographers, illustrators, designers… etc. But you will notice that the stories and viewpoints come from the film industry.
